Help Young Men of Color Become Tech Innovators

You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of disadvantaged, low-income students today. Help us raise $10,000 by December 31, 2016. Your tax-deductible donation will help reach 1,500 disadvantaged youth and change the lives of many.

Lives like Raul. When I first met him, Raul had a 1.8 GPA and he almost dropped out of school. He lived in a one-bedroom apartment with 18 other family members. It was a constant struggle for his mother to make ends meet each month. He didn’t think college was a possibility for him, let alone a computer science degree. TXT was a way for Raul to get out of poverty and out of his gang-infested neighborhood.

Through TXT, Raul learned how to code and dream big. With the help of tech mentors, Raul graduated high school and now, he majors in computer science at California State University, Stanislaus. TXT completely transformed how he saw himself and his future.

This year, TXT inspired over 1,000 students of color to fall in love with computer science during workshops, after school coding classes, our Summer Coding Leadership Academy and the largest Los Angeles teen hackathon, Hustle N’ Code.

Supporters like you make it possible to empower more young people like Raul and give disadvantaged students a brighter future.

Donate today to help us develop the next generation of tech innovators and bring diversity to the tech sector. We can’t do it without you.
